Andrew studied at Falmouth school of arts and has exhibited extensively across Cornwall, residing in North Cornwall he draws inspiration from the rugged beauty of the Cornish coastline.
His creative processes are fuelled by long walks and sketching along the coast, where he seeks to capture the shifting moods of the landscape.
His bold and dramatic approach using oil paint, acrylic and mix media are designed to evoke emotion. Andrew believes that 'art has the power to awaken feelings, memories, and a sense of wonder and hopes that his paintings can offer a moment of escape and contemplation.

I am interested in distance and the spaces between, things that are lost in dark corners or hidden in plain view. The forgotten, misplaced and the unconscious, the spaces where the dust of memories lies.
Christina draws inspiration for her painting from her wondering in the dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor and the elemental weather she experiences in the high places of Cornwall.

When she paints, she doesn't very often have a clear idea of what the final piece will look like, but like a tree adding new growth, her creative mind takes her in many directions. Currently living in the Parish of St Breock, Lawrence is blessed with glorious views of the Camel estuary looking both towards Padatow and Rock. After 34 years on ministry in the Church of England, Lawrence retired with his wife Jacqueline where they have traced his ancestry back to an 18th century sailmaker from Falmouth.
During 10 years as Chaplin of Tuscany, based at the church of St. Mark's, Florence, with At Peter's Siena, he was immersed in the fabulous Renaissance art of Florence and the glorious light and beauty of the surrounding Italian countryside. He was later appointed Chaplin of Monte Carlo and was able to experience the same intensity of light and colour on the Core d'Azur, this has had a profound impact of his journey in painting.
He has maintained this love of painting and now retired, he is able to focus on the stunning coastline of North Cornwall. With its working harbours, fantastic light and 360 degree views equalling that of Tuscany and France. Whilst mainly painting in oils, he has rediscovered his love of painting in watercolours and mixed media.
In his recent work during the pandemic and onwards, he has been drawn to the working harbours and fishing boats of Padstow, the river Camel estuary in Wadebridge and the local Cornish churches.
His painting journey has been inspired by such artist as Raoul Dufy, John Piper, Marc Chagall, Ian Weatherhead, Robert Heindel and Christopher Johson.
His paintings are in private collections around the world including the USA, Italy, Scotland, New Zealand and Monaco.
His recent exhibition at the Rock institute was very successful and current wor is can also be seen at the Mowhay Gallery in Trebetherick, Polzeath. Other works can be seen on his website and also welcomes commissions.

The son of a Baptist preacher, JJ Adams emigrated as a child from Plymouth to Cape Town in South Africa in the early eighties. In the early 80's Nick moved to the beautiful village of Great Bowden, in the heart of Leicestershire his interest in Landscape painting was fuelled by the beauty of his new homestead.

Dale Bowen was born in Staffordshire in 1963, and now paints from his studio in Dorset, he studied art at Newcastle college and is also a master potter . He worked for Wedgewood for over 15 years working in the Prestige Department, there he made many one-off pieces for commissions and the collectors market with some fetching over £100,000.
When painting he likes to use a variety of mediums, feeling the need to experiment and master as many methods as possible. He works from rough sketches or photographs as a varied approach allows for more a creative approach, even observations and conversations act as a source for the process.
Although working in the clay industry for so long Dale says it's the joy of painting that is his first love, and the reason why he keeps returning to the canvas.
