Printed in Italy, this original Fiorucci poster is a rare piece of the Italian fashion label's vibrant history.
Founded by Elio Fiorucci in 1967, the now iconic brand first rose to fame in the 70s with a new boutique in New York’s East Midtown. Inspired by the Studio 54 club scene, Fiorucci created a party-like atmosphere in the store that attracted everyone from Madonna to Debbie Harry, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol.
The store was the go to place for fluorescent jumpsuits, parachute pants, high-heeled sneakers and Italian disco clothes. A merging of art, culture and fashion in the era of disco, Fiorucci was famously referenced in Sister Sledge's 'He's The Greatest Dancer'.
